Excerpt: This thing can do a lot more if you get the 3rd Party Firmware for it, you can FTP, and all kinds of stuff, plus having 2tb is great! you can still get on the internet while connect wifi to it also, Battery Life is controllable, however figure about 4 hours or so..
Summary: Purchased the Lacie Fuel for a family road trip from the West Coast to the Mid West and back. Before leaving I ripped 150 movies, including some that I purchased from the Apple iTunes store. I have a MacBook Pro with a usb 2 port.
Summary: Don't get if you want to watch movies bought through iTunes. Changes in ios8 have blocked access. I was truly disappointed and returned the drive because I had bought it for travel viewing of my collection.
Summary: dont trust the ads ! i bought this wireless drive 1 year ago i tried to use it many times ! it sucks .. always disconnected always in trouble so so so slow !! so whatever seen on youtube or ads is completely untrue !! the drive is too slow ..

However, when trying to test out the streaming, I was unable to stream an iTunes purchase to my MacBook Air (yosemite), iPhone 5s (8.1) or iPhone 6...
Excerpt: I bought this as a backup to my girls iphone. she has to sit next to it to upload photos. it takes forever via its wirelessness. oh, ya... it also doesnt save them all and once you delete a photo thinking it's backed-up on a drive - well. ya lose it forever.
