Summary: I got this for my wife for her Ipad. When connected to a laptop or PC, she can connect to it wirelessly from her Ipad. It gives her a lot of more space for her music and movies. Where the epic fail is, when you go on the road and there is no laptop or pc to connect this to, you can't connect to it via wireless! So it's useless when traveling and that really was the main reason we got this... to put movies on for the long road trips.
Summary: Length:: 7:43 Mins Kingston 16gb Wi-Drive Wi-Fi Hard Drive Review Pros: Does exactly what it's supposed to Virtually no buffer time Stream to multiple devices simultaneously Small and lightweight Cons: Short battery life (about 3 hours) Unable to transfer files back and forth between hard drive and portable device Overall: For iOS users (iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad) this is virtually a must have device since you can't add any additional storage to your device.
Summary: I charged the unit using the wall socket USB charger. It took about 2 1/2 hours to charge fully. While it was charging, I downloaded the App onto my iPad and set it up. After the wi-drive charged completely, I plugged it into my PC and added some pictures and some music. When I set my iPad wi-fi to the wi-drive and accessed the App, everything I had put on it was instantly available.
Summary: I recently bought a Android Tablet that didn't have an USB connection in order to be able to use a flash drive for watching movies. This product fits the bill. I am able to connect to this drive using a wireless connection and a app that you can get off the Android Market and Amazon Market. The pros are as follows: No problems connecting the wireless to my tablet.
Summary: Item was just as described. Very portable. Easy to set up on my iphone 4. I can either stream movies to my iphone or transfer them. Since I only have about 2.5 gig of available space on my iphone, I can only put 1 movie on my phone at a time. With wi-device streaming I don't use up that space, but streaming can't be used on airplanes and streaming uses up a lot of battery life on the wi-device.
Like - Some hiccups - Hopefully to be worked out for Kindle Fire

Summary: I've only had this for a couple days so I can't give an authoritative assessment yet. I charged this right after opening it which took a couple of hours. Getting it to pick up my wireless signal took a little doing but finally got it to recognize it. I then hooked it up to my laptop and transferred a mixed bag of docs, music, photos and smaller video clips. The music files play fine as long as they are .mp3's, .wma's won't work.
Great Product. Must have if you have lots of media.

Summary: I have only had the Wi-Drive for about 2 weeks but so far I have really enjoyed it. It's great adding an additional 16GB of space for my iPad and I love that I don't have to store the huge movie files local on the iPad anymore. It basically functions as a portable cloud for my movies, music, and photos. PROS -Small, compact, portable -Stream hi-def content really well -Easy to use and setup CONS -The drive gets pretty warm when in use.
Summary: This wireless drive is an excellent portable device for folks who own a lot of files. I utilize my storage space on the iPad and iPhone for music and photos. This device extends capacity, giving me more options on what to listen to while I'm traveling. The design is sleek. It's super light. And it fits nicely in a small pocket in my bag. It's my small personal wireless network.
