Failed After 3 Months (PIN Rejection)+ Data Lost + Amazon Replacement Delivery Failure
Amazon Verified Purchase "UK", Amazon
1 May 2014
Summary: Treated with utmost respect for 3 months AND THEN after 3 months suddenly REFUSED to accept the PIN I strongly believe was the correct PIN. Tried multiple combinations but in vain. All Date lost with no backup.
Summary: A very good price for a secure device of this capacity. It was bought for secure transfer of very large volumes of sensitive data between sites. It was reviewed and passed as fit for purpose by our security experts and has proved to be easy and quick to use.
Summary: Upon first booting up the drive and putting in the default code of 123456, the unit would not let me gain access. Seems something had gone wrong when it was programmed in the factory. I phoned up tech support and had the issue fixed within a few mins but reinitiating the unit.
For secure storage I would recommend using a unencrypted hard drive
Perennially disappointed, Amazon

Summary: I've had serious problems with this item. The instructions are very confusing, and I've had to wipe the drive more than once as the password I use as standard is not recognised. For secure storage I would recommend using a unencrypted hard drive, and installing truecrypt on it.
Summary: DiskAshur is sturdy and easy to operate, just like other iStorage products I've owned for years. Enclosed power adapters come in quite handy. After a couple of hours of constant use, it seems it produces little heat.
