Summary: item arrived timely, securely packaged. Unit worked right out of the box. I use in conjunction with Norton 360 to backup my system. Response is fast. Reliable. I turn off when not in use and, as an extra precaution, turn off internet during backup.
Summary: I needed a Terabyte drive to store all the movies that I was downloading. I got the Iomega last year and it turned out to be just what I was looking for. No issues at all; it has taken a few bumps and it keeps on ticking. So go for it. I will update this comment if and when it does fail.
Summary: Received this backup hard drive within two days and had it installed within 15 min. The process for installation was smooth and anyone can do it. I bought it to back up my home videos so that I don't have to have them saved on my computer. Videos eat up a lot of memory and can slow down a computer. No problem retrieving them when I need them.
