First One Replaced Under Warranty

Summary: I'm marginally happy with this product. I have had it for about 8 months with infrequent use. Initially the product worked fine. I needed something that was portable and dependable. I found that it was portable, but not extremely dependable.
Summary: I bought this drive because I had purchased one just like it a year or so ago, and I wanted to keep one backup outside my home. Also, about 6 months ago, the Retrospect software that came with it started giving me error messages and would not complete the backup.
Product fails when used with Windows 7 Backup and Restore Utility

Summary: I bought this unit to use as a hard drive backup of my new Dell XPS computer. When running the Windows 7 Backup and Restore utility the process kept failing. I initially tried backup on two separate Iomega Prestige 2 terabyte units and then again with two Prestige 1 terabyte units. All 4 failed.
Summary: No matter what version of Windows 7 you're running you will have issues with this device. I read the reviews, saw the Win7 issues (everyone seemed to be running a version of Win7 Home) and thought the same wouldn't apply to me.
