Disappointed

Larry D. Wynns, Amazon
27 December 2013
  • Summary: It did not copy all the files for my backup. It would not let me delete the few files that it did copy and when I tried to reformat it to get rid of the files it would not format.

  • Summary: I used it for a while and it disconnected. I am not sure whether its the drive or external hardware. The drive functioned fine when connected though.

shame on Iomega engeneers

Amazon Customer, Amazon
13 September 2013
  • Summary: The first one I bought in 2008 with 500gb is still working but then I purchased this 1 TB drive about 2-2.5 years ago and it was never the same. Not only it's always been VERY slow but now one folder has disappeared and asking if I want to "format" the disk.

Still up after 3 years!

jj, Amazon
2 September 2013
  • Summary: This has proven more durable (and a little slower) than my 1TB Seagate FreeAgent drive which crashed after a year and fatally crashed a few months after. Read click-of-death. Don't expect permenent storage from anything other than the cloud (can be expensive) or, possibly, NDisc blue-ray storage.
