Summary: First the good stuff. This is a nice little portable drive with decent storage capacity. It is powered over the USB bus which means there are less cords and stuff to deal with. So, as a portable drive, this is a good one.

Summary: I have 2 methods of backing up my hard drive. My synchronization software works. Windows 7 backup doesn't. They should tell people about this before they waste a bunch of time. I suspect that it can't handle files over 4 GB. NTFS is supposed to handle that, so it might be the encryption software.
Summary: The drive is easy to set up - just plug in the USB. The problem I found was with the QuikProtect software provided with the drive by download from Iomega. Put simply, it has been unable to find a "path" and won't do the job as intended.
