Summary: I have been aware that I really should do something about backing up the life-time of photos amd music. But only dipped my feet in the techie waters when my 320GB drive started to look rather too full. I know nothing about technology.
Summary: I bought this in August 2011 to use as my Time machine, having had an Iomega 500GB USB drive that contiues to give sterling service after about 6 years on constant use. The Iomega is daisy chained with two WD Mybook firewire drives and has performed faultlessly.
