The Iomega eGo Charcoal is a portable hard drive that supports USB 3.0 interface and is preformatted and supports hot plug-and-play. The unit does not require an AC adapter to operate and is compatible with PC with 300 MHz processor or higher capability, built-in USB connection, requires USB 3.0 port or ExpressCard™ or PCIe slot, Microsoft® Windows® Vista™* / XP Home / XP Professional / Windows 7 (32-bit) operating system and 256MB RAM or higher. It is covered by a three year limited warranty (registration required for extended warranty).

The Iomega eGo Charcoal is a portable hard drive that supports USB 3.0 interface in its 5.37" x 3.5" x .625" / 0.4 lbs form factor and provides users with optimized transfer speed up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0. The hard drive features Iomega Drop Guard™ which helps protect the drive from drops up to 51 inches; Iomega® Protection Suite which includes Trend Micro™ Internet Security, EMC® Retrospect® Express Backup software, Iomega QuikProtect, and MozyHome™ Online Backup service to protect data and computer and is covered by a 3-year limited warranty. The Iomega eGo Portable Hard Drive comes with a Connection Cable, Quick Install Guide, HTML User Manual and Help Files, Iomega Protection Suite software license included, software via download (PC only), Trend Micro™ Internet Security and a warranty with product registration.
