Summary: I had this for about 2 yrs or so. I never dropped it to see if it stands up to a beating but I wouldnt want to try. It is still made by man. However, It is a great hard drive. Small size to fit in my bag. Great case. I would recommend it to anyone.
Summary: I've been using this as a "file name to file name" backup for over a year. Works great. I am able to retrieve files just as if they were on an external drive. I am not using the built-in backup software.
Summary: This is a great external hard drive. It's small and lightweight, making it perfect for people who travel frequently. It's also fairly fast and very easy to use. I would definitely recommend it.
Summary: Received this product in a nice box. Still looks like it would break if you drop it. Has a rubber housing around it. Instantly connected to my netbook and created a back up. Not a fan of the 2 usb port requirement that Iomega still chooses to use. I prefer the single usb.
Summary: Positive: The device is extremely portable and designed to provide protection against drops. In addition, this version of the hard drive doesn't come with annoying software that you need to run to use it. Negative: While the design of the unit is good, it is not reliable for long data transfers.
Summary: This hard drive has worked well so far. I purchased it to use as a Time Machine backup for my MacBook Pro, as I wasn't backing up my data enough with my desktop hard drive that I keep at home.
Summary: Excellent product Pros: simple setup, no software necessary light, and extremely portable thick rubber banding edges while leaving enough space clear do it does not overheat Cons: cord is slightly unwieldy highly recommended for huge storage in tiny bundle
