Perfect as the Internal Hard drive for Lenovo Twist

Summary: I have a Lenovo Twist PC with Windows 8 OS. I purchased this item so that my Twist can become a dedicated Linux machine. The item came totally new and unformatted, which is exactly what I wanted.
Summary: Great size for backing up data. I paired this with a USB 3.0 enclosure and it is really fast. I use it to backup my computer and my wife's computer with room to spare. This drive would also work great in a laptop or desktop PC as it has standard SATA connections.
Summary: Very please with this HDD. Easy as pie to install in a 2009 model ASUS laptop. Wife was using laptop, and it kept crashing. I bought her a new laptop for her birthday, and she wanted me to throw away the laptop. "Let me play around with it. I might be able to fix it." "NO. THROW IT AWAY.
Summary: I was in a situation that, I couldn't afford a 512GB/480GB SSD or I couldn't live with a affordable 120GB SSD. My HP Envy M6 AMD sleekbook was giving me hard time loading operating system & programs. Some times it required more than 3 minutes to boot in to Windows 8.1!
Summary: The disk worked great with my Sony VAIO VPCEE25FX, which had a 320GB 5400 rpm HDD. Combined it with a RAM upgrade of 4GB to 8GB, and the difference was noted pretty fast! I bought the laptop when I started college five years ago, and with this upgrade, it can give it at least one or two more years...
Summary: I have had this hard drive installed on my laptop for a couple of months and am totally satisfied with it's performance. Fast and quiet. I am looking for a hard drive for Moms laptop and WILL be ordering from this seller if they have the right hard drive needed. Thank you very much!
This 7mm drive says it is a direct replacement for ...

Summary: This 7mm drive says it is a direct replacement for 9.5mm, but it is not. The connector would not align properly with the connector in my Dell Inspiron 1525. I think you need a shim/spacer of some kind.
