High speed, portable and very convenient

Summary: I bought this drive to replace an aging external drive - this replacement is fantastic. Read/Write speeds are very good using USB 2 - I can't comment on USB3 speeds as the device is being used on the mac and older windows PC's (without USB 3).
Summary: The positive is that the design is good and it is compatible with my MAC laptop. Unfortunately it is not compatible with my TV. I get an error message saying it can't be recognised each time I plug it in.
Summary: The usb-connector is only weakly soldered to the board. Regular wear can (and in my case did) break it loose, rendering the hdd inaccessable. Looks robust on the surface, but weak/cheap design inside. My third (and last) drive from Freecom :-(
Summary: I purchased this product to use with my MacBook Air. It is very sleek and matches my Macbook perfectly, it was very easy to set up and works seamlessly with the time machine on my Mac. I am very pleased with everything and would thoroughly recommend it to others.
Summary: Beautifully made (brushed silver case), compact (12 cm x 8cm x very thin), it looks like it was designed specifically for my iMac, and neither gets in the way nor looks odd connected all the time. Set up was a little confusing (probably me), but now runs perfectly with Time Machine.
Summary: This is a nice small portable drive. I like it because it has 1.5GB and is a great size to carry a large quantity of documents. It fits easily in a pocket, and there is no need for a seperate power supply, as it is powered via the USB itself.
