The Dane-Elec So SuperSpeed is an external USB 3.0 Hard Drives that is capable of data transfer speeds of up to 250 MB per second. The hard disk drive will be released on December 11th, coinciding with the Thanksgiving launch of USB 3.0-compatible laptops and PCs from leading OEMs. The unit offer users with several storage options ranging from 500 GB all the way up to 2 TB, and are available in 2.5“ or 3.5” formats for either laptop or desktop computers. Users will be able to transfer bandwidth-intensive content such as photos, music and video to and from their USB 3.0 built-in port laptops and PCs at speed up to 10 times faster than the transfer speed of current USB 2.0 devices.

Dane-Elec intoduces its So SuperSpeed USB 3.0 portable hard drives, which consist of the 2.5-inch SoMobile SuperSpeed, the 3.5-inch SoReady SuperSpeed and the SoExtreme SuperSpeed SSD. The the SoMobile SuperSpeed is a portable USB 3.0 2.5-inch hard drive. It is available in the colors white and black in 500GB or 640GB capacities respectively. They both come in a compact, lightweight textured case. They will be sold at the price of $179.99 and $199.99. The SoReady SuperSpeed, is based on 3.5-inch hard drive and available in capacities up to 2TB. It comes in textured brushed black case with a price tag that ranges from $149.99 to $239.99 (1TB). The SoExtreme SuperSpeed is portable USB 3.0 SSD storage device based on Intel’s X25-M SSD and is available in 80GB and 160GB capacities that are priced at $399 and $799 respectively. Both of them use the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface and are also compatible with USB 2.0. They can also be used on Windows 7.
