Summary: I got this to supplement another one I have so I don't have to keep swapping them around. I'm always amazed to learn that almost nobody backs up their computers on a daily or even weekly basis. What's up with that? I've used Clickfree for years without any issues. This one goes with a Seagate Free Agent Go drive and it will probably work with anything. Clickfree even reminds me to back up and when I plug it in it's fully automatic.
Summary: I have another "Clickfree"" external hard drive. I have used it for several years. I needed a larger backup drive. This is PERFECT. you can use any external hard drive with this cable. I love this. .
Summary: We've been using this device, on 2 or 3 computers, for about a year. Haven't had any issues. Since computers, nowadays, rarely crash, this may explain why. This item recognizes your computer and shows only those folders that belong to that particular computer. My only concern is, should my computer die one day, would I be able to access the contents of that computer connecting this backup device onto another computer.
Summary: This really does a great job of what it is intended for, just plug in and it takes over and does the job quite well...you do not need any paper work/manual with this unit, as it is definitely a PLUG AND PLAY UNIT...Thanks Folks for making it available and at a reasonable price....Walleye22in...

Summary: Clickfree's automatic backup is the most consistently reliable and easy "set it and forget it" backup option for Windows that I've found so far -- very similar to Apple's Time Machine that is part of OS X. The Clickfree products generally work great, chugging along in the background, keeping the user's data safe. I have recommended Clickfree to many friends over the years and they are all still good friends after buying and using Clickfree to backup their Windows PCs.
Summary: As I already had a 1TB USB drive, this device complements it perfectly in creating an auto backup drive. Just plug it into your USB port and plug the drive into it & your done! Works on Windows 7.
Summary: Product arrived in a timely manner and in perfect shape. I just plugged it in and in just seconds the software began working. After the latest update was installed the backup worked like a charm. It gave new life to my basically worthless 250MB Western Digital hard drive. All previous attempts to back up my computers were total nightmares. I backed up 12 gigs of data in about 15 minutes. I have backed up two laptops so far and I now have peace of mind.
Summary: I used this to back-up the files on my old computer (that was dying a slow horrible death) and transfer them to my new computer. Everything worked "as advertised". This was very easy to use & I'm quite pleased with the results. Since I went from a Windows XP operating system to a Windows 7 system it took some "liberties" and put some folders & files where I didn't expect them but I can always create & re-arrainge to my liking.
