Excerpt: Overall, this drive has proved useful to me so I am definitely grateful to have found it. I think it could be improved a bit more such as having an internal 1 TB or more storage because there really isn’t any point for a storage size this small. Also, if it is going to have a storage size of 250GB, then I would prefer an external solid state drive over a hard disk drive especially for network accessing because I need all the read and write speed I can get.
"Clickfree C2N 1TB - Too good to be true than it is."
10 April 2012
Pros: When it works properly then to back up simply plug and play. Compared to some previous external hard drives which I have had the chance of losing my entire data is probably less.
Cons: I ran out of space, and think it is important that people are aware of Clickfree problems 1/2 star-Couldn't select no star If data gets corrupted due to a virus it is possible to lose entire data with only 1 backup, which most people don't realize
Summary: Product comes with very little instructions as to how to retrieve information and how to use the product. I am actually curious as if this product will actually retrieve lost information from a spoiled hard drive. Yet to be seen.
Summary: The description gives me the impression that I simply connect this once to the laptops I want to backup and then ClickFree handles it from there. That simply is not true. This device has to be connected to a host computer in order to work. What I wanted and what the description implied to me what a device that would operate wireless on it's own. I have two laptops - I don't want to tie up one laptop all the time at the desk. I am sending it back.
Summary: I need to back up the data of my desk top computer and two laptop computers, and I bought Clickfree Automatic Backup hard dirve. The procedure to hook up the device with all my computers is simple and easy. No complicated software program to run. Just plug in the USB cable to the computers and it will guide you to the proper steps to complete the back up process. I highly recommend this backup hard drive.
Clickfree Auto Backup Does Exactly What It's Supposed To Do!!

Summary: This is a great hard drive and does exactly as described--back up all your files without doing anything more than plugging it in. It's that simple!! Yet you can customize at will if you are so inclined. The software is great for viewing files on the drive and then doing with them whatever you want--create cds, dvds, etc. Great value!!
Summary: I bought the C2N Home Backup Drive in April 2011. In my experience, Clickfree simply does not deliver on its promise of "automatic back up". Virtually nothing to do with the automatic part actually works. The support staff are easy to reach and do try to help. They apparently will spend as much time as you can stand giving you technical support on the phone but their product is still a piece of doo-doo.
Summary: As simple as this device is, I still a few questions. The ease of getting to someone - in my case Ali Zulquadar - was a welcome change if you've ever tried to reach the right person at some of the other "tech" type companies. Ali was pleasant, efficient and most of all knowledgeable and we were able to deal with my issues in no time...couldn' be happier. I far cry from the Imogen I threw away.
Summary: Very professional and knowledgeable Customer Service. I had a security/access related issue and it was quickly resolved by the Clickfree Customer Service Representative (Ali Zulqadar). I was really impressed by the level of service that was provided - the technician not only knew his product, but was also able to do a research and come up with resolution for the third party software that was preventing the BackupLink execution.
Summary: The backup seems to work, but every time the computer shuts down I have to reload the software. Also, it seems to have caused a problem with bluetooth. I keep getting an error message fro Tuxera NTFS even though it seems to be working. I wouldn't recommend it for use with a MAC.
