Summary: The functionality of the device is good. However, the battery life is about half of that advertised while streaming videos. Also, the device must be powered off in order to charge- it will not charge while connect to your PC and loading files.
Summary: The USB connection broke after minimal use. They do not warranty this part for repairs. The hard drive inside works fine and is made by Western Digital. The case, otherwise, seemed to work well.

Summary: Got one refurbished - I was not sure I want to pay full price. Had some issues connecting to it, but succeeded in the end. Used occasionally, seemed to require a few restarts to be able to connect wirelessly. Until recently, when after a longer break, shows no sign that it can be used wirelessly.

Summary: Purchased this drive Aug 2013, used it to backup my MacBook Pro with time machine. I'd use it to back about a 2 or 3 times a month. Just failed, very disappointed. It was working fine last week. Plugged it in a week later, blue light came on and nothing, not showing up on the desktop.

Summary: I have BUFFALO MiniStation 1 TB Thunderbolt / USB 3.0 Only two-star rating Because the price is too high And also I have a WD USB3 The price difference is very large, but the difference in speed is simple and small So, better to buy Hard USB3 Speed Hard BUFFALO, WD USB3, with Mac retina 15
Summary: At first I loved this hard drive. I got it on sale, it was sleek and uber portable with 1 TB of storage. I'm a photographer and store tons of photos so this drive was a back up to the original back up. About a month ago it started beeping and not showing up on my computer.
