Summary: I have to admit I bought this because it was hot pink, which is my favorite color. :-) It was on a lightening deal for under 50 bucks, so the price was awesome for 1TB. I have this connected to my laptop PC and I put all my photos and programs on it as a backup, and since it's USB 3.0 it's pretty fast. 1TB is a LOT of space; I don't know if I'll ever fill it up! It's doesn't weigh much, so you could put it a bag and take it with you. P.S.
Summary: Well the drive itself is amazing, my gf got it for me, is pink but it was the cheapest for that reason. The only problem i am getting now is that the usb cable is so delicate, i barely movie it and it kills the connection, please fix that.
Summary: I am in a masters program so I am constantly writing papers and doing projects! This thing is so helpful and works great, and for the price was what I think a great find! Would recommend to anyone and not to mention the color!!!
Summary: Normally I wouldnt buy a pink item but the price was right so! The black model was $20 bucks higher & I needed to back my PC up ASAP! it was full 70% so I needed this to clean out some space! when youre a musician & use your PC to mix tracks you can fill your PC up real quick!
Summary: I would have given this drive 5 stars, if it weren't for the poorly fitting cable others have complained about. It's not on the drive side, it's on the computer USB side (and yes... it's the same on various computers). This causes the user to have to disconnect and reconnect the cable several times until getting a connection. Then don't even touch the drive or you could loose the connection once again (which is VERY frustrating half way thought a backup).
Summary: The external hard drive is real good, using it over a year now. However the USB cable that comes with it drops the connection and causes the device to eject with the slightest movement of the drive. Thought of returning it ,however I have another USB 3 cable that works just fine. If only the manufacturers replace the USB cable alone.
Summary: Nothing fancy about the drive, as it simply provides the bare essentials of space. It does what it is supposed to do and I am using mine without any problems whatsoever. Simply plug your drive into a USB port and your computer should be able to detect it. Great product and recommended!
Summary: First of all, the price is very reasonable. The speed is faster than my old WD passport 1TB USB 3.0 one. The sleek design makes it nice for traveling as well. If you are looking for an external hard drive, I'd highly recommend buying the ADATA.
