This is a great little dictating machine but you do have to be careful about how you hold it!

Summary: I dictate a lot and upload to a web based service that creates the document for me. I've tried cheaper machines but one of the things they lack is a "hefty" feel and easy to use buttons. Most cheaper maching don't let you easily "rewind" and find where you want to over record something new.
Summary: I purchased the original dragon and, after much training as a young lawyer, the program got better. Thereafter, I relied on paralegals to handle transcription until purchasing Dragon 12 but was still skeptical of the feature to transcribe dictation from recording devices such as the above.
Summary: I am a physician who has been using this device for the past several months. I have become extremely frustrated because of at least two design flaws which have resulted in lost dictation and countless wasted hours.
Summary: Good dictation machine. I use this primarily for dictating letters, notes and pleadings in a legal office. It works about the same as an old cassette tape dictaphone that I still have as backup. Our office is transitioning to the fully networkable electronic version.
Summary: Second purchase of the item. The earlier version used push buttons instead of the slide switch which were far more awkward to use and frustrating. This newer version is far superior. I highly recommend the system.
