Excerpt: The toothbrush leaves you with a really clean feeling and the charger glass and USB chargeable travel case are nifty. However, a couple of problems I came across. There is no way to distinguish between different heads for diferent members of your household so had to resort to a nail varnish dot on one of them. Also, to turn it off you have to go through all the modes rather than just setting the one you want. Maybe there is a way to do this but I haven't found how yet.
Fantastic clean, though a few minor product flaws...
2 January 2014
Excerpt: Bought this to replace a 3 year old Sonicare HX6731/02. The clean from the DiamondClean brush is fantastic, it certainly improves over the previous product I owned. However there are a couple of minor flaws I've come across. Firstly the DiamondClean heads don't come with the coloured identifier rings I've been used to on previous models. There are 2 of us sharing this brush (different brush heads of course!
Good but failed a couple of weeks outside guarantee period
19 December 2013
Summary: Good results and easy to use but failed just outside 2yr guarantee period. Usual failure of coupling from motor to brush fixture, had three or four Philips Sonicare brushes fail in exactly the same way, one failed within 3 months! Starting to think this is a deliberate part of the design! Bit of a shame as it is otherwise very good.
Pros: good results, easy to use, smart looks
Cons: fails too quickly <25 months, flawed motor linkage design
Excerpt: I take it with me wherever I go. It is very easy to charge and the portable charger is very compact. I don't think it lasts up to 3 weeks though with it being used 3-4 times a day. The case is not bulky and keeps it clean as well.
Excellent teeth cleaning but annoying design faults
22 October 2013
Excerpt: Cleans teeth very well and has a range of useful programs to tailor your cleaning action for specific purposes, such as tooth polishing. Annoying that there is no way of differenciating between family members' brush heads. Also the lead could be a little longer, making charging easier if your power source is a bit distant from a shelf.
Excerpt: It's a great toothbrush but I do struggle to see that it's worth the pricey price tag. My teeth do feel lovely and clean but the whole mouth is another thing. I'm sure that it's doing good for my teeth and gums so will continue to use it but has become a bit of a chore.
Summary: Charging design really chic. Has new user built in mode which increases the power of brushing over a couple of weeks when you start using it, which i didnt realise at the time, which was good, as when reaches full capacity is really quite powerful! Charge/ storage case really clever so you can take away and not worry about charging as you can plug the case into your laptop/plug socket. Long life battery which lasted over two weeks without being recharged when went away.
Pros: inovative and smart charging glass, inivative and smart travel case with charge functi, powerful, sleak design, long life charge
Cons: multiple users need identification for brushheads
