Summary: We have been loyal SonicCare owners for several years. These toothbrushes have failed twice (my husband and I had one.) Both of the toothbrushes slowly died and then one day, stopped working entirely. For the amount of money these are, I would expect better performance and durability. We cared for them as instructed and am very disappointed with this purchase.
Summary: I have replaced this toothbrush a couple of times now. My husband and I share the same handle so we switch heads everyday. After only a year the handle is making a terrible vibrating noise and we can hardly hold onto it. I called the company and they replaced it, but now a year later, they won't replace it again. I would think that a company would make a product that could stand switching heads out daily - very disappointed in the lifespan of the product.
Summary: Disappointed that it only lasted 14 months until the battery would not recharge. For the price I thought it would've lasted much longer. I gave it three stars only because they replaced it sight unseen. You don't see many companies with customer service like that anymore. If it wouldn't have failed so soon I would have rated it much higher.
Summary: I have used the Sonicare line for a few years now. They do not last very long. Be prepared to buy a new unit every year. When they work, they work well, but with such a short life span, probably won't buy another one. Goodbye Sonicare I did not register it, nor do I have a receipt. Shame on me, but thought the product would last longer.
Summary: I have been a regular Sonicare customer for a number of years, on my 5th or 6th unit. First time buyers beware. These toothbrushes - even the lower priced models - will be expensive. Even the replacement brushes are expensive.
Pros: tooth cleaning effectiveness, portability
Cons: cost of toothbrush, need for frequent replacement, impenetrable packaging, cost of replacement brushes
Summary: I've sworn by Sonicare for several years u2026 even when/because I've had to watch my budget! Not only do I consider my teeth a lifetime investment, the toothbrushes pay for themselves in compliments from dental professionals, strangers and friends alike; in dental visits NOT spent enduring extensive cleaning, probing, scraping, etc. by the hygienist; in time and money saved not even needing to see the actual dentist for anything worse, even cavities!
Summary: I recently visited my doctor for annual checkup. Part of his review is checking ears, nose, throat. As he finished and pushed away on the wheely chair he said, "I see you just visited the dentist as well.
