Is this an ld model?

KJS, Amazon
23 September 2014
  • Summary: I bought this to replace my Plilips Sonicare brush which needed a new battery and I damaged the electrics while trying to solder in a new one. Philips make it really difficult to change the battery which should be simple. Although it works okay I'm surprised it is different model. It is a different shape, there is no battery level indicator light, it does not have 2 speeds.

Good toothbrush but massive design flaw

binsonsbooks, Amazon
14 November 2013
  • Summary: This toothbrush is in many ways great, but has a massive design flaw. Unless you disassemble it everytime you use it and rinse out the inside, it fills up with water, saliva, toothpaste and dirt and this turns into gross, black slime. I would not recommend buying it.

Great Value-For-Money Product That Serves Its Purpose Well!

Andrew McCann, Amazon
31 December 2012
  • Summary: Having been using Sonicare rechargeable toothbrushes for many years now, I found the HX5350 to be both cost-effective in terms of pricing and as good as any I have previously owned in terms of results. (When I originally started purchasing Sonicare toothbrushes I can recall having paid approximately £100 for a product with a similar type of brushhead and yet I was able to puchase this model for a quarter of that price.

sadcustomer, Amazon
5 November 2012
  • Summary: My son and I enjoyed the clean feeling of using this brush, but sadly it stopped working after 3.5 months. However, one call to Amazon to tell them about this resulted in a replacement being sent out - excellent service thanks!

Good purchase

E. C. Smith, Amazon
10 October 2012
  • Summary: I bought this to replace a previous one of a different make which had stopped working. It's very good, efficient, easy to charge and lasts a long time on each charge. Unfortunately the heads from the previous make don't fit, neither do the Phillips heads from the one before that, but it's a good toothbrush at a good price and does a decent job.

terri, Amazon
6 October 2012
  • Summary: This was the second time I bought one of these. I just thought I was unlucky the first time when it only lasted 12 months - this one lasted only two!!! Would not buy again.

Philips Sonicare

Breaker, Amazon
22 September 2012
  • Summary: This is the second Philips toothbrush I've purchased. The first one gave up after 5 years of use (Battery). It is quite remarkable in the way it cleans teeth and it's a pity nothing like this was available when I still had good teeth. It would have gone a long way in preventing tooth decay and fillings. A good product and a good price. Highly recommended.

Value for money

12345, Amazon
16 September 2012
  • Summary: Had the brush a couple of months now. Replaced a rotating head style electric brush and I will never have anything but a sonic toothbrush now. Clear difference in how clean your teeth feel and has maintained the scale and polish clean I had at the dentists a couple of months ago. It is quite loud but not a problem. Only gripe is that you do need to take it apart and clean regularly - stuff gets trapped in between some of the parts of the brush.
