Summary: I'm not a particularly talented guitar player so I bought this guitar a few years ago so that I could learn. This guitar came with a book and cd, a small amp, a tremolo arm and a guitar case. This guitar tunes up really well and actually has a really nice sound. The volume and tune turners work really well and it comes in a nice shiny black. It polishes up really well and it looks very good. It's not too heavy and it has a place to attach a strap to.
Summary: This was my first electric guitar, purchased from an Argos catalogue about 8 years ago for around £135. Needless to say I was impressed with it, a fairly cheap, well made guitar in a crisp black finish (minimal cracking over time), brown fretboard with 22 frets, the standard white dot markers.
Summary: I've had a few guitars and the Yamahas that I've had have all been built to a fantastic quality. The ERG came my way extremely cheap, I was only hoping to get a good neck to fit to another guitar. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was as I knew this was a budget guitar. However, the feel of this guitar completely belies it's price, excellent action and playability. I had an even bigger shock when I plugged it in, it has really good tone as well.
Excerpt: Well I have owned this product for over a year now and I could not be more happy with it it is an amazing guitar for beginners and advanced users alike. The guitar also sounds excellant when played through a larger amp e.g. a marshall stack (trust me Ive played many gigs with it :) only thing I would recommend is that you purchase a new jack lead after a short time as the cable is low quality sound tranfer. Other than that this is an brilliant product at a great price.
