Summary: I'm a Washburn lover and this is a big disapointment. I have the following Washburn: WD5SCEB RX40 WIPROFTSB WIPROFTR But this WD10SCE came with pickup wires dangling freely in the soundshole. (The WD5SCEB I received was so much better in quality and setup) The WD10sce action is the highest I've seen, like 3.5-4mm above 12th fret. The neck is already straight, I don't think the saddle is that high. I didn't even bother to adjust the action nor proceed with sound test.
Summary: I have had this model for four years and am totally satisfied with it. It has a good sound and an action that makes playing it a pleasure. It sounds good plugged in or just played acoustically. I have recorded with it, and performed numerous gigs too. The built-in tuner is a great convenience too. If you cannot afford to pay more, then just get this one and you will be satisfied.
Summary: I recently picked this up for a cheaper guitar to take around. I'm very pleased with it and would recommend for a beginner, or anyone that needs a great playing guitar under $300 dollars. You are not going to find another guitar with the action, plus a cheap pickup for $250. IMHO, this is a great deal. Plus: Great Action/Playability Comes with a cheap Fishman Pickup I think Washburn's have a good even tone (high's/low's are generally balanced IMO).
Summary: I played one of these guiyars in a music store before I purchased this one and i and i really liked it. This one doesn't have the best tone. The action on it is not bad though. Deffinetly not a bad guitar for the price but deffinetly not a taylor.
Summary: a really nice guitar for the money not a taylor or a martin but who can afford them. I had a washburn acoustic that I had to reinstall the bridge twice so I bought this one it was cheaper and seems like alot better guitar than my other one. all in all a good buy.
