An angel of a guitar flawed by factory defect

David Balmer "technology geek", amazon.com
27 January 2012
  • Summary: Amazing playing and sounding guitar. Unfortunately, the nut was not setup correctly, and the tuner posts were drilled in such a way that 3rd and 4th strings wrap into the posts for 2nd and 5th strings. Combined, this makes for a tuning nightmare.

  • Summary: I would put a Michael Kelly Patriot Custom against any PRS! I love my custom! Rich sound, always reliable, and super flexible. I play daily and lead the worship service at church....from 80's styled rock sounds to mellow tunes and even funky stuff...MKPC covers it all beautifully!

  • Summary: I fully agree with the two comments before. I bought this guitar from the German store in Frankfurt (Old Guitar Fan talked about the video on youtube). I was really impressed by this guitar, too. It looks, feels and sounds incredibly good. And all this for a damned good price.

  • Summary: I bought my Michael Kelly Patriot Custom Electric Guitar about a month ago when Amazon had it on sale. I am a fifty-six year old amateur, still taking lessons, but before this my main guitar was an '84 American Strat, so I had a top quality guitar to compare others against.

13 October 2009
  • Summary: I am basically an acoustic guitar player but I wanted an elec for the times I felt like playing more aggresive blues numbers. I wanted one in the classic Les Paul style but the high price tag was a problem.
