Good instrument, well made.

I. P. J. Brayshaw "Big Fish", amazon.co.uk
3 February 2011
  • Summary: More than an entry level Bass. This instrument is well made, plays very well and has excellent tone. The neck and action give no problems and having played it for a couple of years now I have yet to adjust the truss. I was originally tempted by the Squire Jazz Bass but a friend who has one has experienced alot of problems with the neck and there are no such problems with the Ibanez.

Entry bass guitar

Yukio, amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: Ibanez have an ever increasing positive reputation for quality bass guitars. The GSR200 is slightly above their basic entry level guitars but also features a lot of the stronger qualities of more expensive mid-level bass guitars. The build quality is strong, I've knocked mine about quite a bit with no issues, and even though it's an active bass (needs a battery) I've only had to replace that once after about 18months.

Ibanez GSR 200

Greenhelm, amazon.co.uk
3 July 2010
  • Summary: The Ibanez GSR 200 is a great bass for beginners and also for people who know there way around a threat board. However if you are an accomplished bassist I would look for a higher standard bass like a Fender, for example. If you are thinking of playing a bass in a band like I am, I would certainly recommend this bass to you, as it provides an excellent tone and the pickups are worth there value.
