Baja Tele

Dude, music123
6 June 2011
  • Summary: Wow. I've owned more than a few guitars at this point in my life and this one is good. I compared it to my 09 American Std and I think I'll keep this one. Mostly because of the neck profile. I was concerned about the poly finish not being as resonant as the nitro, but unplugged I can't tell the difference. I was also concerned about the weight, but mine came in at 8lb's.

Fender Classic Series Classic Player Baja Telecaster Electric Guitar

  • Summary: I give out a few eights, a lot of nines, this one ten, and only one four with a bunch of reviews I've been writing, but I'm giving this guitar a 10. My reviews are high because I research my products, though due to living in a small town, I don't get to play a guitar before I buy unless it's an Ibanez. Now, Fenders and Epiphones are no longer sold in town. First, buying it from the local guy meant it came in perfect condition.

Best of both worlds

  • Summary: When looking for a Fender Telecaster, if you want a Tele with a little extra punch and speed, this is your axe.
  • Pros: This guitar blends the traditional with the modern.
  • Cons: Perhaps a tad bit too heavy on some examples.

  • Summary: This is a beautiful guitar. I bought it about a month ago. The playability on this thing is amazing. The finish is incredible. It's really silky. Played through a Fender tweed there is no sweeter sound.

Expected better

G. Davis, music123
8 February 2007
  • Summary: The first guitar had bad pickup switching. Sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't. The S1 switch built into the volume knob never worked. I returned this guitar and received another. The switching works and the guitar palys and sounds good. However there are blemishes in the finish just behind the bridge plate. They are small circles that look like some corrosive liquid was dripped on it.

  • Excerpt: So initially I wanted a telecaster but it was not essential to me so I expected to be pretty hard to judge its qualities and defects. And in the end I have to admit it is really well done, it is very playable and it sounds bien.et bonus it was not too bad set of origin. I patched the 1/4 turn of the screw trusraod and retouched a chouillat the b...

"Suicide Blonde!"

  • Excerpt: Basically, this interested me for his Tele handle unusual and I envisioned a bunch of upgrades. 2 weeks répéts and a concert later ... I am going to seek a second (more with a clearance, so for a lower price), history of Baja still retain more or less "stock". I've always loved the mouths of Telecasters, never found one that suited m...

" Back to the roots ... Fabulous!"

Solaroth, Audiofanzine
26 September 2012
  • Excerpt: I use it since the end of 2011, I tried the American Special Telecaster before buying that one, but I chose this one because it is more versatile. The Amercian special grows much more extreme level position in microphones (Serious too serious to my taste, too much treble treble) Excellent value for money! For 630 euros, you ride ...
