Summary: I have never written an Amazon review before but after taking delivery of my Encore EBP E6SP and using it for a few weeks I felt I wanted to share my experience. A complete beginer I searched amazon for hours trying to find the right electric guitar for me. Eventually I decided on this model and ordered it with guaranteed next day delivery. As promised it arrived the next morning.
Summary: I ordered this item but I cannot review the same item as the company who was to deliver the item for which I paid extra for next day delivery before 1pm did not turn up. They say they called and they say they left a card but I am afraid to say they did not so if you buy this item do not get it delivered by DPD
Summary: As I am new to guitar playing I trowled the net looking for reviews on guitars. I found that the "Encore EBP-E6SB Elec. Guitar Outfit - Sunburst" seemed to have the right reviews and was also in my price bracket. Since my guitar arrived I have been very pleased with the whole package, in fact I am now taking lessons.
Summary: First let me be honest, I'm an absolute beginner (only a few months into my course) and this guitar "pack" is pretty much targeted for beginners, hence the reason for the selection of this item. I was very impressed by the actual quality and feel of the guitar and the overall contents of the pack but that soon ended. After tuning and eager to get going I found that most of the strings "rattled" when played on the top 2-3 frets, hugely frustrating.
Summary: Bought this for my 14 year old son, and he loves it. Great quality guitar and amp, although the lead broke in the first week so purchased a separate lead from Dangleberry Music (via Amazon) for just over a fiver which is ideal. Definitely would recommend, just a shame about the lead.
Summary: The guitar is OK as is the amplifier and the bag. The stand keeps tipping forward and therfore you have to be very careful when placing the guitar on it. The biggest disappointment is the tremolo arm which is useless. No matter how many times you try to screw it in, when it comes to the stop position the arm is always pointing up over the strings. I wish I'd waited until after the New Year when I could have spent another £20 and bought a Fender Squier.
Summary: This is really a good guitar though not for professionals. This is my first guitar and its really amazing . I recommend a effect with this guitar because without effect this guitar would be like a piece of rubbish.
