Poor quality control

Summary: I purchased this package as a Christmas gift for my 10 year old. Unfortunately I am returning it to Amazon and starting over. The DVD can't be read because there is a flaw in the media surface. The tuner simply does not work. It turns on, but does not pick up any sound. The quality of the amp is very poor. The final insult was the chipped paint.
Summary: This guitar was way more than I expected! It is pink glittery covered with s clear varnish. It is the perfect shape and color. It comes with all the stuff you need for a beginner. The amp is not too bad either. The strap is a bit touchy and my guitar almost hit the floor once. If you are going to buy, I suggest a more heavy duty strap. Other than that, awesome!
Summary: First, I am very pleased that there are so many choices out there now for little girls who want to play guitar. Daisy Rock and Luna are two fine companies with a real commitment to what they are doing, and it shows in their products. That said, this guitar has a four and not a three star rating because what you get, if it all works, is definitely worth $187. - The guitar itself is of good quality, a real guitar and not a toy.
Summary: This is my daughters first electric guitar. Its quite heavy...but she loves it. Dont know if all electric guitars are this heavy - we only had a childs acoustic before. Its very sparkly! Once I got it tuned for her she started playing.
Summary: I purchased this guitar for my 8 year old daughter for Christmas. On the second day she touched it, the guitar string came out. It simply just broke right off. She started crying and was instantly disappointed because she felt she'd broken the guitar. I did not see her pull it or apply any excessive force. She simply attempted to strung the guitar, and out popped a string, just like it was never fastened or secured in the device.
