GARBAGE! Don't waste your time and money.

Elizabeth, Target
24 June 2012
  • Summary: This product was nothing more than a disappointment and a waste of our time and money. The thing has a glitch in the firmware so that it automatically turns itself off after a minute or two while you're using it and when using batteries. The released a firmware patch. Downloaded it - hassle because you have to sign up for an account - and now the system won't turn on at all! Tried taking the batteries out, putting them in, taking them out, putting them in... nothing.

great product

  • Summary: This product was the highlight of my daughter's 2011 christmas! This product keeps her entertained for hours. She loves the different games that she got to go along with the v-reader. The only downfall to the v-reader is that it doesn't come with a charger. You have to purchase it separately or buy batteries, which can get really expensive. But other than that, i would recommend this product to every child that has a craving for learning.

Great toy, but didn't work for very long

Christine, Target
17 January 2012
  • Summary: We purchased this v.Reader through Target.com for our 3 year-old daughter for Christmas. She absolutely loves it. She doesn't use all of its features, but this is a good toy to grow with. Unfortunately, it lasted less than a month. The touchscreen, which is used a lot with this toy, suddenly stopped working. Without the touchscreen, the toy is essentially useless. Because this is the v.Reader PINK, it is not sold in stores and returning it has become a big hassle.

  • Summary: My child did not find this entertaining at all. The batteries last maybe one play session. Horrible. I expected it to be much better.
