Summary: I purchased this a couple of years ago because of the screen size and number of supported file types as well as the library lending capability. I used it for about 4 months all told before buying a Kindle (which I had strongly resisted). The only problem I had with it was the glare off the touchscreen which resulted in extremely limited viewing angles as well as decreased screen contrast.
Summary: I purchased this eReader with great expectations. After using it for a couple of days, I decided to return it. Here are the reasons: Good: Built-in dictionary Highlight, annotate, take notes using handwriting Memory expandability Comes with wall-charger, leather cover, hard zipper case Bad: The biggest issue is the screen glare. It is so annoying, I had to continuously keep changing the holding position and still could not get good reading angle.
Summary: I bought the PRS-900 mainly for documents in pdf or doc (MS-Word) format. I really like some of it, but as the problem issues added up, I have decided to return it. Here are the things I liked the most: 1. Excellent metal body with good tactile feel. Included cover (leather?) is good quality. 2. Stylus is useful when using the touch screen, and you want to not use oily hands. 3. Pretty good pdf reader (though it had problems in zoom mode). 4.
