Hundreds of books in a package half the size of a DVD case!

Excerpt: I actually don't own one of these toys yet, but my daughter was here this summer permanently attached to hers. Sony just dropped the price and has a new model out which I plan to purchase. The Sony PRS-505 is so thin, it's about half the size of a DVD case. Even with it's leather cover I still think it's thinner than a DVD case.
Great value, great compatibility, great battery life. Adequate zoom.

Summary: The PRS-505 is a great little device. No touch-screen that newer e-readers have, but the buttons are simple and intuitive. Compared to most e-readers, it's a bit on the heavy side, but nothing you're likely to notice unless you're just particularly used to a lighter model. Its built-in 250MB storage sounds tiny, but that's a few hundred books.
Summary: this ebook is quite good for reading text rich document, but not quite good for reading graphic rich documents. The user must pay attention to the reader's E-Ink screen, since it's somewhat easy to get block or strips across the screen when the screen got pressed.
Summary: I love the Sony e-reader. I waited several years to buy an e-reader because of the price, and because the only e-books available cost - I DON'T buy books. But since the cost has come down and there are tons of free e-book sites, I took the plunge. I don't want wireless to access the Internet so it's perfect for my needs. At first I was a little disappointed with the storage size (I'm used to the trillion GB available on most products), but PDFs require so little memory.
Pros: Adequate Storage, Compact Design, Easy To Use, Fast, Good Compatibility, Long Battery Life
Summary: This is a good eBook reader. The pages are crisp and easy to read. Adequate memory, but I like being able to pop in a SD or Memory Stick for additional storage. Battery life does not live up to specs and I would have thought Sony would have addressed that by now. The reader itself is a bit heavy, compared to a friend's Kindle, but that might be attributed to sturdier materials.
Pros: Compact Design, Easy To Use, Good Compatibility
Summary: great for importing vacation maps, notes, attraction info, etc. Good layout. As others noted, a bit slow on page turns but not serious flaw. Fast transfer of books and files from PC. Great product! Ability to use memory cards help secure business files (and add fun storage!
Pros: Adequate Storage, Can read personal docs, Compact Design, Easy To Use, Good Compatibility, Long Battery Life
