Great value, great compatibility, great battery life. Adequate zoom.

Summary: The PRS-505 is a great little device. No touch-screen that newer e-readers have, but the buttons are simple and intuitive. Compared to most e-readers, it's a bit on the heavy side, but nothing you're likely to notice unless you're just particularly used to a lighter model.
Summary: Excelente e-reader.Muy buena calidad de lectura y fácil manejo. Recomiendo actualización y descarga de complementos para poder cambiar el idioma y obtener más funciones ( diccionarios, fuentes...
Summary: Looks and operates very nice - only drawbacks are there is no backlight for reading in darken areas and it take forever to load data after you do a sync for new books, music or pictures. Once everything is loaded though, very easy to use and very portable.
Summary: The Sony Reader PRS 505 has everything you want in a reader. The screen is not too small, the colors are perfect. You can zoom in and out if the lettering is too small. And the e-book comes with a beautiful binder that fits perfectly in any bag.
Summary: I love my ereader. I've had it for over a year now. It came with a free 100 classics coupon that I used on the estore to choose 100 classics to download to my computer and ereader. It's a thin, silver, sturdy-feeling gadget.
Summary: I love this reader!!! If you are a fan of reading books like me but don't want alot of books laying around, then this is it. It is thin, lightweight, and made of metal instead of plastic, plus if you are a big fan of color, Sony offers more than just the standard silver.
Summary: PROS: Least expensive e-ink ereader, easy to set up, works with secure Adobe epub ebooks. CONS: Somewhat annoying flash when changing pages. Before I purchased the Sony PRS-505, I investigated all the other e-ink ereaders on the market: Kindle 2, Sony PRS-700, iRex iLiad, Cybook and BeBook.
Summary: My husband gave me the reader for Christmas. Our daughter who is more "up" on the lastest technological advances knew about the reader and suggested it would be a great gift for me. She was right. I love it. I'm a "chain" reader. As soon as I finish one book I start another.
