Summary: I so enjoy the new digital readers out there...I was a book lover before but now I am an absolute avid reader! I have had the Amazon Kindle (I & II), Sony PRS-300, and this Sony PRS-505. Out of all of these e-readers, I like the Sony PRS 505 the best.
Summary: Looks and operates very nice - only drawbacks are there is no backlight for reading in darken areas and it take forever to load data after you do a sync for new books, music or pictures. Once everything is loaded though, very easy to use and very portable.
Summary: I found the Sony to be quite useful in holding many books, especially while traveling. It's wonderful not to have to carry the actual paper copies, and there are many titles to choose from through electronic sources.
Summary: The Sony Reader PRS 505 has everything you want in a reader. The screen is not too small, the colors are perfect. You can zoom in and out if the lettering is too small. And the e-book comes with a beautiful binder that fits perfectly in any bag.
Summary: If you read couple books a week, then a electronic book is a must. No more having books all over the place. Its easy to read, can make the words as large as you like. Been told that you can but textbook on it.
Summary: I love my ereader. I've had it for over a year now. It came with a free 100 classics coupon that I used on the estore to choose 100 classics to download to my computer and ereader. It's a thin, silver, sturdy-feeling gadget.
Summary: I'm 30 and because I have no kids, I spend a lot of money on tech toys. I'm not sure how the Sony Reader stacks up against my other electronics... it isn't used as often as my iPod and isn't as cheap as my DivX player... so for its cost, I expect to be able to use it for years to come.
Summary: I am so happy with this e reader and I really can zip through a lot of books. Easy to read in bed. I am reading a book with over 1800 pages and would not be able to hold a book that size for very long.
