Summary: I bought this e-reader because I was going on vacation and wanted to do a lot of reading but needed to pack light. I was on a budget and I already have a nice laptop and phone so I just wanted a basic e-reader. This product is several years old and there are much nicer products available that are more like tablets, with a touch screen and wifi, etc. This product only does reading and nothing else (no color screen, no music, video, or wifi, etc.
Good Product, Great value for the price, great battery life

Summary: I bought the reader, because I wanted to try an ebook reader. to start is a good device that fulfills its mission. works great for people who do not want to customize so thoroughly how to read, but want a device to read already. The interface is simple, but is lacking in options. although it is a device in 2009, does its job well. has 3 zoom size , brings some fonts but not over there.
Summary: I bought this item as a gift for my wife. This is the second one I have bought for her. I bought her a second one that she leaves in the car for when she gets delayed and doesn't have her first one with her. She loves her readers and uses them all the time. The screen is easy to read and the menus are easy to navigate and quite intuitive. Books are easy to buy and load on the device.
Summary: nice, but wish I had instructions on how to use, otherwise product is in excellent condition, just don't know how to use...probably will figure it out someday but I certainly wish you would have included instructions..
Summary: I bought this reader so I can download books from my library..I also own a kindle..You can not compare the two..Both does a good job for what they are..My only complaint with the sony is you can not do anything with a book unless you hook it up to your computer..The kindle I can delete a book and make folders without the computer..All in all it is a good buy..
This is a wonderful product and I'm sure, bing Sony, it will last!

Summary: This is a wonderful product. If you love to read, you will love this devise. I highly advise you to get one for yourself. That being said, there are certain limitations. You do have to have a computer to download books through and there is no back lighting with this particular devise as well. I don't know about the memory yet. I have only had mine for about 3 days.
Summary: And bought an e-Reader. I really enjoy having it around, but have yet to actually BUY an e-book. I just can't bring myself to do it. Works great for borrowing e-books from the library or finding free ones through Project Gutenburg or other sites. The book managing software that comes with it isn't the greatest but you can download the free software Calibre and it works even better. It does have one issue (might just be mine)..
Summary: I really like this reader, the batter life is very good and the device can store many books. The main reason I purchcased this as opposed to the kindle is that I can borrow books from the library with it. The size of the device is about the same as a paperback (height and width, not thickness) and can be carried in a purse. The only drawback is that my device is not wireless and does not come in color.
