Kobo Touch E-Reader

MisterTickle, REVIEW STREAM

  • Excerpt: The Kobo Touch is the new and improved ereader by Kobo . This ereader features a 2 gigabytes internal memory, which can store thousands of ebooks. I will never run out of space again. It has a 7 inch fully touch screen navigation for easier control. It has a wireless N adapter for web browsing and over the internet ebook streaming and downloading. According to the specifications, the battery life is one month, which I find unbelievable.

No. Never. I tell you, no way!

  • Summary: Unfortunately, I must have hit a faulty one because it crashes every now and then and on top of that the battery gets empty spontaneously. I then have to recharge it and restart in with the use o a pin but I don't know when it is going to crash again. I would wholeheartedly have liked to have it refund but i don't think that is possible now. On the whole, had I known, I 'd have kept away of it.

Nice quality and price balance.

  • Summary: - Unfortunately, this e-reader recognizes only two e-book's formats: pdf and epub. But when you read books in pdf there are still some issues. If you fit page to display, then the font size is realy tiny. And if you flip to horizontal orientation + fit page to width ,then you have to go up and down within one page (it is a little bit annoying). So it makes only one format usable - epub, though it is very nice.

Love having books at our finger tips

  • Summary: Bought another one because sharing one ereader just doesn't work! As older citizens, learning one version of techno gadgetry is enough wasn't even tempted to look at another brand.

Excellent E-Reader

  • Summary: I love my Kobo! Super lightweight, clear and clean print and pictures, fast loading, easy to download new books. The only thing that I wish was better is the ability to jump to a different page. If I could type in a specific page, I would be much happier. But still a great reader.

  • Summary: There seems to be very few books, magazines available in the format needed. It wasn't very easy to learn to use either.

  • Summary: Amazingly reviews for kobo products on amazon are generally negative but mostly positive on other sites. Kobo is the ereader recommended by the American library association. Kobo is extremely well supported at public libraries were you can get just about any book for free down loaded to your kobo from any where if you have a library card which is free. if you live in even a midsize town you can read for free on kobo. you can share books on kobo.
