Summary: I love my Kobo! Super lightweight, clear and clean print and pictures, fast loading, easy to download new books. The only thing that I wish was better is the ability to jump to a different page. If I could type in a specific page, I would be much happier. But still a great reader.
Summary: neither of the cords were included (as stated),cost me double to buy them, blogs revealed some nasty idiocincracies of the "Vox E reader",which I now know this is,it's at the local radio shack, hopefully they can reset it which I was unable to do. yikes what a cluster.
Summary: This was an excellent product what what it will be used for. It was inexpensive, but served its purpose. It was received in excellent condition. All the parts were in the packaging as if it were still new. I would recommend it to anyone.
Summary: So it seems OK by the specs. You can definitely load any book on it no matter where you got that book, if you know what I mean, but that is pretty much where the good stuff ends. This little piece of crap - and I use that phrase because what I really want to call it would surely be censored - has caused me endless hours of frustration. You have to download the KOBO desktop program to your PC to disconnect it from your PC or, I swear, the contents will be scrambled.
Summary: Unlike other ereaders I have used in the past, the Kobo is small enough to fit in a purse, making it perfect for me to take to my myriad of doctors' appointments, on vacation, or anywhere else I'm headed. If I finish a book while I'm out, or in the middle of the night, all I have to do is connect to wi-fi and download another.
Summary: The Kobo has made me say words that would make a sailor blush. I don't know if the problem is the software or the hardware but it was a constant struggle to get the desktop program to recognize the ereader was attached to my pc. The thing would synch and update. It would exchange information with the pc but did not always show itself in "my computer" or with the Kobo desktop program. Then I'd have to wipe it back to factory settings and install everything again.
Summary: Amazingly reviews for kobo products on amazon are generally negative but mostly positive on other sites. Kobo is the ereader recommended by the American library association. Kobo is extremely well supported at public libraries were you can get just about any book for free down loaded to your kobo from any where if you have a library card which is free. if you live in even a midsize town you can read for free on kobo. you can share books on kobo.
Summary: I previously had the KOBO Wireless but replaced it with the Touch. I love both, though I did like my first one more. I am not a fan of touch screens, but almost everything is touchscreen so I cannot do anything but cope. The ereader does freeze once in awhile. I was told by KOBO that screen protectors are NOT recommended. Keep in mind that many sellers here on Amazon give "free" screen protectors with purchase of other items but that does not mean you should use them.
Summary: As the title suggest, I adore my Kobo. This is the first eReader that I ever purchased. I got it at Target, of all places, for $75. That was the Touch with Ads. But 6 months later, something happened (I don't exactly know what) that caused the software to glitch up, bricking the Kobo. So I contacted Kobo Customer Support, and I was presented with the most genuinely helpful support team I've ever encountered.
