Summary: Useful, big enough to read pdf's of books that have never been made into e-books - this was the primary reason and it serves it well. I found it too slow to use it to annotate anything, perhaps future iterations will be more responsive. Battery is really weak, lasts much less than a week. And they send me a European plug, despite the fact that it was shipped here, to the US.
Summary: PROS: large screen, high resolution, zooming and annotation features. CONS: weight. ** ICARUS is rebranded from Onyx M92. The M92 review: the toolbar can be configured with 'Zooming Icons' which allows one tap access to 4 main functions (1.whole page, 2.full width, 3.full height, 4.rectangle select). Icon 1 and 4 are used frequently in landscape mode. Pressing the dedicated menu button gives plenty more rendering options. Text re-flow is possible.
Fragile Screen Not Covered By Warranty. Stay Away.

Summary: The product is decent while it lasts. Won't read Pdfs as well as a tablet, but I had a decent experience with epub format. Problem is: The screen went kaput after about 6 months of use. Now, I don't treat my hardware like it was a container of eggs, but I am reasonably careful with it. I carry laptops around and they last me years (last one lasted me 5 years).
Summary: This appears to be a re-branded onyx boox m92 with some functionality removed like web browsing. This product should work fine but the screen is very delicate so you must be very careful with it. Good luck.
Summary: I haven't had this Icarus Excel ereader for long enough to really put it through its paces, but so far I like it a lot. I got it primarily for reading--and taking handwritten notes on--pdf files, and it works well. Navigation could be a little easier and it would be really nice to be able to jump between several open documents, but it seems to serve its main purpose well.
