The Nook Color is a great value and a decent tablet!

Summary: The Nook Color is a sturdy feeling reader. It is a little heavier than other E-readers, but it doesn't feel cheaply made. The color LCD display can be a little difficult to see with the glare of sunlight or certain direct lighting. Another advantage is the ability to expand storage with a MicroSD card. You can even boot off the MicroSD card using a unrestricted version of the Android OS. The Nook Color is perfect a perfect companion for reading.
Summary: The Nook Tablet 8gb is a terrific way to read books and magazines while enjoying your favorite music. Transferring the songs over to the Nook from my laptop was fast and easy. For folks who want the "full" tablet experience, they sell the N2A card which enables you to boot your Nook into a full tablet mode, with access to Google Play, and the 400,000 apps available there.
Summary: Love the Nook Bought as present for my sister to up grade her! She had first nook that came out is now having problems with buttons and nook cracked, also no more room for books! So I up grade her to color nook wifi , which I have, but discover her nook is even alittle more advance ! She is really enjoying her Nook, it will take along time to fill this nook up. Everyone should have one!
Summary: The nook works beautifully no matter what I use it for. I have read 7 books in just under 2 months which is more than I read in a years time. I can read it anywhere I go including in bed at night without having to turn on a light. This is the real reason I bought it. I also love the ability to access the Internet as well. I didn't realize that it would access the Internet so readily giving me the ability to facebook, work or research away from the house.
Summary: When I decided to buy an e-reader, I did a lot of research and decided that I really wanted just a basic one. I didn't need all of the bells and whistles. I looked at all of the black and white ones on the market and nearly purchased the NOOK Glowlight until I read some of the reviews about problems with the light. My friend owned a NOOK COLOR and really liked it so I decided what the heck. I have not been disappointed.
Find a NOOK color and BUY IT on sale, it is AWESOME

Summary: the Nook is one awesome mini tablet (by that I mean 7" rather than 10") My wife got interested in a tablet last summer, we got a couple of MID tablets - worked ok, but couldn't upgrade the games, etc because they were basically old technology and wouldn't upgrade. We looked into the B&N NOOK when we found out that as well as using the onboard B&N Android software, it would readily accept the Cyanogen Android builds using the mini SD card expansion slot.
Summary: Exactly what we wanted to replace a Kindle that we lost. I took it to Barnes & Noble to get some help because I was lost in the setup. They could not have been more helpful. I only miss the 3G of the Kindle. Just use it at home with our Wifi and all is great.
