Summary: I purchased this for my grandson for Christmas. We returned it. Every app you download you have to pay for. I got him a Kindle Fire and he loves it. The apps are free on this item. I would not recommend purchasing a nook.
Summary: I gave this as a gift. i received a call from the recipient today telling me that the unit did not work and that when they took it to Barnes and Noble to get help they were told it was some sort of recycled unit bought in bulk my Mexican companies to resell. This was a big disappointment to say the least. The BN employee even showed them markings on the packaging the indicated the Mexican connection.
Summary: I was super disappointed in the Nook color. I decided to go with this over the Kindle because it was cheaper, & I can see why now. The Nook runs EXTREMELY slow, & the frame itself is super sensitive. Like sometimes when I was reading a book and I touched a certain part of the outside the pages would just go nuts & start flipping themselves. And you can't use it while it's charging or else it will go into violent seizures.
Summary: The item I received looked nothing like that pictured. Note the shape of the lower left hand corner and the back button in the middle. Battery life is horrible; tablet won't connect to any network; won't display ebooks; won't recognize a flash drive and refuses to eject a micro flash card. This is a fraud and needs to be taken off Ebay.
