Summary: Great value for my purpose to store and read PDF instructional files. I use my Kindle for pleasure reading. Good Value and was shipped quickly ... could not find this model (basic) in the store.
Summary: This device does exactly what it is advertised as doing. The battery lasts for weeks, the storage is more than enough for a battery's worth of reading material. Be sure to keep it clean, or the interface will stop functioning.
Summary: I bought this to have all my books in one place but not all were able to be transferred. Also miss the lighting. I had to buy a separate light to read at night. I have not been able to see how it will be out in the sun that is the other reason i bought this since i was unable to read in the sun.

Summary: nook is a good ereader and sony is also a good ereader and i would recommend both to my friends, depending on their needs/wants. SIDELOAD= downloading a ebook from your computer hard drive to your ereader, weather sony or nook.
Summary: The Nook Simple Touch is a great little e-reader. It's easy to use and displays books well. It handles pdf files better than my husband's Sony T1 reader, which I have been delighted by as I often get review copies of books in pdf format.
Summary: Very good deal and finally makes it available to Canada.
Pros: The light weight, size and incredible easy reading screen. eInk is the way to go if you like outdoors reading. The long lasting battery is another plus. Comes in the nice Barnes and Nobel box and not some OEM brown box.
Cons: The lack of a charger. The one we bought direct from Barnes and Noble came with the charger. This one was missing in the box. The cable is there to charge via your USB on your computer or another USB style charger.
Summary: I was a little afraid that it wasn't manufacturer warranty but, it definitely live up to standard of what I expected. I bought this from Canada, where the Nook isn't available. I chose this over the Kobo Touch, and I have no regrets.
Pros: - Small, Light weight - Ability to root and have access (but limited access) to Android and its functionalities - High quality refurbished. It looks brand new.
Cons: - It's a little hard to hold with one hand, due to the ergonomics of the device, but a slight Con depending on how you read - Only have access to 256 MBs out of the 2GBs of internal storage. Only a problem if you have lots of PDFs. as ePubs are minimal in size.
