Root it and it's perfect (as long as no 'holes' develop)

Summary: I got this used, rooted it, and love it! I already have a Nook Simple Touch, but now with glowlight, I can read in the dark bedroom while my kids and husband sleep--yay! I'm just praying it doesn't develop the light 'holes' that I've read about...
Summary: After a year of my B&N STwGL use experience I admit that this e-reader is still unbeatable in terms of usability, battery life and price. Amazon now offers a very good e-reader too, however they missed the train I believe for at least a year.
Makes the entire barnes and noble experience that more enjoyable!

Summary: I absolutely love it. I've always adored Barnes and Noble so this is just one more thing to love about them. You can use sd card to expand or add your own books that are bought from another site. Could go on forever.
Very dissapointed with this product. Don't waste your money!

Summary: The battery does not last the time is listed by Barnes and Noble. I fully charge the nook and within 3 days of no use the battery was dead. A complete lie. This is the second nook with the same problem, and since I returned one previously I decided to keep this one at a Lost. Not at all satisfied.
Summary: Works completely as it should. Ease of use with transferring book. Good battery life. Images come out as if they were printed in B/W paper - but not bad. Can still get to a browser in a pinch - don't expect much if you wanted to surf the web.
Summary: I bought this to have all my books in one place but not all were able to be transferred. Also miss the lighting. I had to buy a separate light to read at night. I have not been able to see how it will be out in the sun that is the other reason i bought this since i was unable to read in the sun.
