richard woo, Amazon
11 April 2014
  • Summary: I receieved the nook yesterday, but i can not turn it on. My college told me that maybe it's over discharged, and i charged it overnight for over 10 hours. But it still does not work in the morning, extremely disppointed. WHY?WHY?WHY? What could i do? Somebody give me some help!By the way, during the charging process, the indicator light is always orange and the tablet feels no hot, it seems no power is transfered into the tablet.

"Hope You love Google, After Update 2.1.1 it is ruined"

raclapp, CNET
26 August 2013
  • Pros: Google store added with update
  • Cons: Excessive Graphical Baggage Update 2.1.1 will ruin it for many people with the removal of the NOOK Apps when it replaces them with Google Apps then adds a bunch more Google trash to the Nook - all without asking. Many settings options now gone..

Google Killed It

S. Hancock, Amazon
7 August 2013
  • Summary: Was working fine until they added google to it. Constantly adding google+ and other apps you can't delete. System slowed down and started to get kicked off the web so it could synchronize my library with the new google updates. So google killed my fun and my nook. Traded it in getting a Kindle Fire HD instead. Nook sold out and it didn't get better for it.

4 December 2012
  • Pros: Nice hardware.
  • Cons: Android Apps don't work. It's crippled. If you have a digital subscription delivered by an Android App you're SOL.

Oops!

E. Say "Emma", Amazon
26 December 2013
  • Summary: Ok, I put my hands up and admit that the price was the big seller for me. What a mistake! This tablet caused me so much grief while trying to set it up for my daughter that I accepted defeat and bought her an Acer Iconia instead! I decided to keep the nook for myself, wish I had followed my instinct and returned it as soon as possible!!! I can't get the browser to stay on track and it kept returning me to the nook page!

Brilliant tablet. Do NOT Buy It.

banjomike, Amazon
12 July 2013
  • Summary: The tablet is superb to use. No argument. NOOK HD+ 32GB Tablet BUT BUT BUT don't buy it. The proprietary 30 pin USB cable is simply too difficult to find and too expensive if you do find one to buy. It even beats Apple in the 'buy from us or else' stakes. If this is how nook sell their top of the range product then they deserve to go to go bust.
