It was great for a year

Summary: DO NOT BUY THIS! It was great for a year, then in late 2014 a firmware 'upgrade' caused it to lose the battery level file, so that no matter how charged up it is, it now constantly sees the battery at 1% which causes it to automatically turn off.

Summary: There is now a near constant synching issue with this tablet which causes any app running to crash and sucks up all the tablet's resources. The 'fix' from Barnes & Noble is to do a factory reset on the tablet, to hide the problem until it happens again, then do it again when the problem comes back.
The product was in great shape, but Barnes and Noble really screwed up ...

Summary: The product was in great shape, but Barnes and Noble really screwed up building this tablet. By all rights it should be a decent competitor of the IPad, but it's software was designed with so many issues that it will continue to get slower over time.
Summary: This Nook was a waste of money. I had purchased one earlier for my wife who loved how great it was to read with for the hour or so that it stayed charged. I am lucky to get the darn thing turned on after charging it all day. I tried to shut it off before charging it.
Summary: I receieved the nook yesterday, but i can not turn it on. My college told me that maybe it's over discharged, and i charged it overnight for over 10 hours. But it still does not work in the morning, extremely disppointed. WHY?WHY?WHY? What could i do? Somebody give me some help!
Summary: Was working fine until they added google to it. Constantly adding google+ and other apps you can't delete. System slowed down and started to get kicked off the web so it could synchronize my library with the new google updates. So google killed my fun and my nook.
Summary: Ok, I put my hands up and admit that the price was the big seller for me. What a mistake! This tablet caused me so much grief while trying to set it up for my daughter that I accepted defeat and bought her an Acer Iconia instead!
