Excerpt: This product has yet to let me down. It's the FIRST ereader to hit the market and the BEST. So what if it's not touch screen? So what if it doesn't come in color? Other than graphic novels, how many adults using ereaders need color? This is the absolute best product out there! I love every bit of it. It's light, uses E Ink Technology and it's a great investment. Love it.
Excerpt: I have had my Kindle for about a year now and just love it. I read all the time and have a lot of books. I keep my books to reread so I was running out of room. The Kindle has solved that problem. I also had to take atleast 2 books with me where ever we went. Now I just take my Kindle and if I finish the book I am reading I just download another one where ever I am.
Excerpt: I purchased my K2 a little over 3 months ago and I absolutely love it. I take it to work with me every day and read more at home. I like to read mostly books and have downloaded more than 100 to my Kindle although folks should know that you can receive newspapers and magazines on a Kindle as well. There are many inexpensive (less than $3) and free books available so not everything purchased needs to be full priced newly released novels.
Excerpt: I have had my Amazon Kindle for 1 year now and I don't have anything negative to say about its performance!. I am a big reader and was concerned about how it would be to read on a screen - the text is crystal clear. The Kindle is easy to hold and fits perfectly in my most of my purses. I love being able to download books without having to use my computer and although there are many books for $9.99, I check amazon.com everyday and find many books for free!
Excerpt: I recently purchased this and I have not been able to put it down! There are so many books available and it is nice to take on the train to work every day. It is quite expensive, but it definitely is an investment.
Excerpt: Kindle is great for simply saving space. The amount of books you can store is impossible to actually fill. I love using it on long vacations where I don't have to worry about packing many books. The features on the new version make it much more practical and easy to use. The search function is one of my favs. If you have the money, the Kindle is definitely worth it.
Excerpt: Just got my Kindle last week for Christmas and I am already in love. The screen is bright and so easy on the eyes. After using an iPhone for so long, it's a little hard to get used to using the keys instead of a touchscreen but that's just me. At just $139, it is sooo much more affordable than the iPad of some of the other e-Readers. The only complaint I have is there is no backlight. I do wish that Kindle could handle apps but maybe that's in the future.
Excerpt: My life will never be the same after buying my Kindle. I have almost any book I could ever want at my fingertips and with a push of a button I can be reading it within a minute. The only downfall is that I will have to have a lot of will power not to purchase all the books that I want to read. That could be expensive! There are many books that are free. I'm guessing they are only available for a little while. There are several classics that are free as well.
Excerpt: The Kindle is a great device, especially if you travel. Don't have to carry books, newspapers, magazines, even documents...all can just go on your kindle. The electronic ink technology is great...doesn't wash out in the sun. The big difference between the kindle and the roval Sony is the wireless capabilities built into the kindle.
Excerpt: My husband and I are constantly reading books. And they are stacked up all over the place. We have favorite authors, and tend to purchase their books when they are released. After researching the various "book-readers", we decided the Amazon Kindle was most likely the best deal around. Then I noticed my boss using one, and she proceeded to show me so many of the features. I decided to order one for a Father's Day gift.
