starlight, ReviewStream
10 September 2010
  • Excerpt: We’re only on the first week of September but it feels like Christmas here already. Yesterday, my brother’s package arrived. The usual items were always present, chocolates, canned goods, lotions, body wash, perfumes, shirts, pants, jackets and bags then came the special gifts for each of us.

  • Excerpt: Recently Amazon.com decided to ship Kindles out to non-US countries. This was a great piece of news for me as I’ve always thought that the Kindle was a gadget that I would be tremendously happy with. Being based in the UK, I waited for a bit while my order …

  • Excerpt: I LOVE my kindle. I was sceptical at first about moving from books to an electronic device but I can honestly say it's one of the best purchases I ever made. It's saved me money on buying books, and saves me a lot of space in my bag every time I go travelling.
  • Pros: Stores 100s of books
  • Cons: Flimsy

  • Excerpt: If you are an avid book reader and you are tired of carrying heavy books in your bag when travelling, then I believe this Kindle is for you. It is simple. No extra features. What I like the most about this Kindle is that it is the closest to a "real" book that you can find electronically.
  • Pros: Screen is like a book .  It does light up in your face constantly .  It is light .
  • Cons: Does not have the option to light up .

Good investment

  • Excerpt: I have had the kindle for around 3 years now and I love it. When I purchased it, it cost around £110 (they're probably cheaper now) but it was worth every penny and it is so easy to use. For a book-worm like me the kindle didn't at first appeal to me because I felt like I was betraying books.
  • Pros: Good selection of books, good battery life, easy for holidays
  • Cons: Hard to get a feel for books

Kindle Keyboard: from Cautiousness to Confidence

Kukana, Ciao
8 November 2012
  • Excerpt: I’m not what could be called an early adopter of technology. I like my elderly computer, my basic phone, and my hard-wearing digital camera. But I was reluctant to take any of them on board at first, and needed extensive help from my technologically aware family to get started and then gradually...
