Summary: The reader can be rotated, it maintains file names, its brightness can be adjusted, it's wonderful to see photos and videos in colour! Lovely way to read books! Great to have the SD card in with a few extra thousand books or so plus the music, photos and videos!

Summary: As it happens opportunity allowed me the great good fortune to buy/purchase three of these Aluratek products as Christmas presents for my people and their people. The first of these products 'The Libre Ebook Reader Pro' arrived most timely and was joyfully received as a High End Treasure of...
Summary: I bought my Aluratek Libre eReader Pro from Borders, which tells you how long ago I got it. As near as I can remember, it's been three or four years. The biggest selling point for this reader is that it can hold a crazy number of books. The original ads touted 50,000 books with a 32GB card.
Summary: It was what I expected it to be. It is a great reader with no frills. Plays movies and mp3's. It can read multiple formats. PDF's are a little slow to load but work fine. I have software that can convert documents into many formats. Epub seems to be my favorite.
Summary: I was going to get a kindle or a nook, or a nook or a kindle... oh wait, there are good quality off-brand ereaders too? Enter the Libre. I have owned the Libre for about 3 months now and I am very impressed with it. It looks great, and the controls and interface are great as well.
Pros: Absolutely love this ebook reader. It's my first ereader, and I might as well be holding a book when I read. I love the size, page-turning feature, and ability to load hundreds of books into it using the memory card. I highly recommend this ebook reader if you want something affordable and simple.
Cons: Internal memory is not that big, but you can add up to 32gb SD card!
Summary: I have had this reader since May and have never read so much... I love it!! It is very easy to use and I am no techy. I like that you can create your own folders to make finding a book a snap.

Summary: I purchased this eReader on a whim. I knew nothing about it, but when I found it at a perfect price I could not say no to I scooped it up. At first I was worried I may have been taken to the cleaners after paying $40 for mine. Admittedly, this company does not promote the product that well.
