The Acer LumiRead is tied in with with Barnes&Nobles, Libri.de, a Germany's leading Internet book retailer with over 4 Million titles; Founder, one of China's high-tech companies, and provides localized contents in English, Chinese and German. It comes with 6-inch display, and can fit up to 1,500 books. It also features a non-glare, no backlit e-Ink display for a paper-like reading experience, even under bright sunlight; is equipped with 2GB flash memory which can hold more than a thousand of books, memory expandability through a MicroSD card, an ISBN scanner that allows users to scan ISBN codes that they can create their own wish-list and search on supported online libraries and book stores; a QWERTY keyboard that lets users browse the web and find and share information on books; an auto-layout which automatically adjusts the content to offer optimized reading experience according to the format; supports various formats, multiplying users choices, and DRM (Adobe and OMA2.0). It also has a built-in Internet Browser, and “Smart Download” which saves website content for reading later.
