horrible people doing horrible things makes for a dull movie

Summary: If this is the future of American Indie Arthouse I can see why it is dying off. An initially interesting premise that is soon killed off by the vapidity of its subjects and lacklustre execution. The Bling Ring were a group of wealthy high school students who burgled the homes of the young rich and famous in LA.
Summary: What an awful film! Full of vacuous, self absorbed, spoiled brat characters, no story line to speak of, and many parts that defy logic. All the dialogue is in the style of this title, which may get annoying for anyone with more than two brain cells. Avoid at all costs!
Summary: A shallow, flimsy excuse for a movie, even my 17 year old daughter thought this was terrible. Utterly pointless with no character development or story at all. A group of teenagers break into the Beverlie Hills homes of celebrities and steal their designer handbags, thats it....don't bother to waste an hour of your life, you won't stay awake until the end anyway.
Summary: This true story is presented a little like a documentary. There is no real character and relationship development, but the narrative is clear. It is straight to the point and exposes the teenagers for their crimes. Honestly, it is not the most entertaining film, but it is interesting and it made me want to know more about the real 'bling ring' scandal. If you're looking for a fun film for a movie night I would not suggest this.
Summary: Oh Sofia Coppola I am so so disappointed! You are so talented so I am surprised that you would even pick this story as a film. When I heard this story in the news I thought it was quite unique but as a film it was so tedious and boring. Why, because the characters were not fascinating, complex or interesting, all in all they were just a bunch of spoilt rich kids stealing from celebrities..
Summary: Biggest waste of time...pointless and endless footage of the characters stealing and partying. No real plot line...The documentary in the bonus features provided greater characterisation and interest than the movie itself. Could have been summarised in 5 minutes!
Summary: If you want to watch a load of characterless teenagers trying on shoes, please watch this, If not, don't bother. It was a shame, I was looking forward to more great performances by Emma Watson post Perks of Being a Wallflower. There was such potential to delve in to the realities behind these crimes and sadly Coppola's created a film that's as shallow as the protagonists.
