Conclusion: I got this on video as a gift from my Dad around 1991 or so and I absolutely loved it!!! About 4 or five years ago I lost the videotape though and I was really annoyed but I suppose it's a sign that I need to get it on DVD anyway. Plus, I think the DVD has extra bits in it that were left out of the video. Rock out!!
Conclusion: Everyone who was about 10 years old in the late 80's loved the Turtles cartoon and if you were like me you were more than likely excited beyond belief with the news on the live action movie. I loved this film as a kid and must have seen it a hundred times, The film was great fun with loads of action scenes and of course all those wise cracks and one liners from the Turtles.
Conclusion: I'm 24 years old and this film is still awesome! Raphael is by far the coolest turtle. Don't waste your time with the sequels as they are awful. This one is funny, original and action packed... what more do kids want??
Conclusion: i love this film, its my guilty pleasure, i cant help but love it, i always watch it when its on the telly, even though the costumes are quite rubbish the film is cheesy and funny and it is worth giving it a chance.
Fans of the comics and cartoon series should have it

Conclusion: Originally based on Mirage Comics first published in 1984. TMNT became a pop culture phenomenal more than any other comic. Most of the fans watched the 87 cartoon series, this film has both. It has the atmosphere and story from the comics and the humour from the cartoon series, they must have listened to every single fan.
Conclusion: This film is absolutely amazing, I used to watch it when I was a kid and it's as fresh now as it was back then. I think that the guy who gave this movie 1 star and called it utter rubbish because there are no such things as talking rats, needs to realise that it's a kids movie. Also he didn't say anything about talking turtles not being real... did he miss that???
