Summary: I generally like dance movies but unfortunately this one felt cheap and the acting felt cringeworthy. I didn't absolutely hate it, I watched it through to the end and I enjoyed some of the dance routines but overall, it was a bit 'meh'.
Summary: I LOVE this sort of dancing, so I looked forward to it with my kids. Expected the plot to be unchallenging so no surprises there. Dancing was great but the lighting and camera work just made it hard to watch. Look, these people are good at what they do, so just keep the camera on them and still, and turn off the bright back lighting. Sooo frustrating, but maybe I'm too old for this lark at 50.
Summary: It's the same usual story, with maybe a little twist. If you like these kind of movies you will like this one. The only original thing is that this one takes place in London. Some great songs!

Summary: What a pleasant surprise this was. I had a few hours to kill and a I decided to go watch a movie. My choice was Streetdance. The storyline is very simple and easy to follow, the acting a little awkward at times but the dancing was fantastic. I'm old enough to be the father of most of the kids in the theatre but I came away thinking 'money well spent'. It's a long time since I felt that way having watched a load of multi million dollar Hollywood rubbish the past year.
Summary: Too cheezy. I didn't like the main character, felt like she was trying to be something she wasn't - her performance didn't come across as natural. Found that sometimes people would disappear out of the movie then reappear again with no explanation. Even the final dance was mehh. Wish I didn't waste my money going to see this one.
