  • Summary: Should have a better rating on RT I don't know like 78% but that's just me. The story is about a marksman on a self-imposed exile is brought in when information about a presidential assassination surfaces. When he is double-crossed, he starts a mission to clear his name and bring those responsible to justice. This movie has great action and I really enjoyed this movie a lot.

  • Summary: The action in this movie is the best thing about it. The story-line was a little mediocre, in my humble opinion.

  • Excerpt: An ex Special Services sniper is recruited to investigate a possible assassination attempt on the President but when he is framed for the death of a foreign dignitary he must find the real conspirators to clear his name. It's Marky Mark's turn to strut his Bourne thang and Shooter has all the ingredients you'd expect from a Hollywood conspiracy thriller.

  • Summary: Bob Lee Swagger (Mark Wahlberg), a retired USMC Force Recon Gunnery Sergeant and Scout Sniper, is framed for assassinating an Ethiopian archbishop. Sarah Fenn (Kate Mara) helps Swagger by tending to his gun wounds. Sarah is abducted by Col. Johnson’s right hand Jack Payne (Elias Koteas). The political angle was sometimes more focused than the plot and acting. It had a few engaging scenes but overall it lacks the intellect and realism.

  • Summary: There are some tense and well-paced moments in this political thriller, but the whole of the film is too uneven. Parts of it lag, while other parts keep you on the edge of your seat. The cast delivers mostly believable performances, but, in the long run, it becomes tough to care fully about the characters.

  • Summary: I like this film. I watched this film with family friends and couldn't believe I was glued to my seat for the entire time. Nothing out of the ordinary action/thriller plots of betrayal, justice, and greed. Also, to be honest, my first time to take a real hard look at MARK WAHLBERG. I've seen him in so many other films but he definitely stood out here. I also just found out that he used to be a rapper aka "MARKY MARK". He was consistent in his character all throughout.

  • Summary: Um, pretty ok. There were some good moments, but it was mainly blah and I'm not surer it was worth my time.
