Excerpt: On the eve of his wedding day, Doctor Watson is persuaded by his erstwhile partner in crime to go head to head with arch nemesis Professor Moriarty in a game of international cat and mouse. The Victorian bromance continues as the bickering detectives cut a swathe across Europe in pursuit of the nefarious Moriarty leaving a trail of computer generated carnage in their wake.
Summary: I'm always skeptical of sequels or a bunch of movies that follow the same plot line but this movie completely surprised me. Absolutely excellent in every version of the word "excellent." Robert Downey Jr. is such a good actor. Love him so much. Awesome!
Summary: Nice movie, like the humor and the action. Not to dificult and sometimes predictable. The only thing they can skip are the action scenes before the real action. This is a bit of 'matrix' action the movie can do without and gets boring after a while.
Excerpt: “What do you see?” I see everything. Sherlock Holmes the most famous detective of Arthur Conan Doyle’s novels is now back in action for the second time. Game of Shadows bestows the impeccable talent of Sherlock and his histrionics to make the viewers engage. He sees everything and he says that it’s his curse. We must remember that the previous movie gave insight into important characters. This one has stressed upon the arch nemesis of Sherlock, Professor Moriarty.
Excerpt: The plot takes part months after the first movie, where Dr. John Watson (Jude Law) is about to marry his fiancée Mary. Inspector Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) is to be his best man and throw his best friend and partner in solving crimes a stag party. Of course being Sherlock Holmes, he has other obsessions on his mind such as his arch nemesis the brilliant Dr Moriarty (played with fantastic intelligence and sinister intent by Jared Harris) whom Holmes believes is...
Summary: It is a sequel to the 2009 film Sherlock Holmes, based on the character of the same name created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The screenplay is written by Kieran Mulroney and Michele Mulroney. Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law reprise their roles as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson, and several other actors appear as characters they played in the 2009 film.
Summary: The second film in the Holmes franchise expands on the first, introducing the infamous Professor Moriarty. While the film drags a bit in the middle, it features a good balance of action sequences and intrigue. Robert Downey Jr. is a suave and sarcastic holmes and the film features some interesting new supporting characters, including a piercing-less Noomi Rapace as a gypsy accomplice.
