Summary: If you grew up in the 80's & were a Rock lover this movie is not to be missed. This movie is flawless, a masterpiece, a classic. Songs of Twisted Sister, Whitesnake, Scorpions, GNR...(Paradise city version of the movie is better than the original song). The Director must himself be a true Rock lover who came out with this amazing movie. The acting of the cast, the sets, the timing is just perfect.
Conclusion: Ive gotta say i wasn't really looking forward to seeing this but my partner put it on and within 2 mins i was hooked... has a fantastic soundtrack and had us all (me , partner and 11yr old son) rocking throughout the whole film.. totally loved it..i cant stop singing the songs and bought the soundtrack already....A FILM THATS GOTTA BE ON EVERYONES BUCKET LIST....ROCK ON !!!
Conclusion: A real feel good film that will have you singing out loud - not at all how I thought it would play out, but so much better! Even if you're not a fan of musicals, you can still really enjoy this. And If you love 80s rock you will love this right to the very end.
Conclusion: I went to the cinema to see this not knowing it was a musical. When they burst in to song at the start I was mortified, but it turned out to be a really good film. The fact that all the music is from my generation and things I listened to growing up, probably added to the enjoyment for me, but a great film nonetheless.
Conclusion: Brilliant film adaptation of the equally excellent stage show ! Tom Cruise excells as the hippy hard drinking rocker Stacey Jaxx ! in fact the whole cast is brilliant ! My favourite scene being the pool table scene with JAXX and Constance singing " The Foreigner hit "i want to know what love is " ! .great sound track !this has to be one of the best feel good films ive seen in ages !great energy music and very funny in places ! highly recomended ! Buy it !
